General Information about BlBA
Founded in 2006, Beijing International Bilingual Academy is an Early Years (EY) through High School (HS) bilingual (Chinese-English-language) international school rooted in Chinese culture. With its Chinese name Haijia expressing wishes to treasure and value different ideas and cultures, BIBA is an international bilingual school authorized by IBO、WASC、ACAMIS and ISAC that provides high quality education. We aim to cultivate world citizens with Chinese heritage and create a caring and challenging education environment in which students are active participants in the learning process. BIBA fosters critical thinking and enquiry-based skills ensure its students achieve their full potential as individuals and as members of the global community.

BIBA’s school year consists of 2 semesters. Semester 1: 2025.08.25-2026.01.23. Semester 2: 2026.01.26-2026.06.26.
Tuition fees are not calculated pro rata by month or day.
A sibling discount of 5% off the tuition fee applies, for the second and subsequent children, who signed up after July 01st 2020. Sibling discount cannot be used with any other discount. (Valid only while both or all siblings attend BIBA at the same time)
Currently registered students who have been enrolled for one year or more and advance to the next educational stage—such as from Nursery to EY2, from EY4 to KG, from KG to G1, from G5 to G6, from G8 to G9, and from G10 to G11— are eligible for a 10% tuition discount, provided that the payment is made within the school's designated payment period.
Tuition fee has to be paid within the payment deadline stipulated by the school to confirm enrollment. Placement for your child will not be guaranteed if the tuition fee is not paid on time.

Payment Methods (RMB Only)
The Finance Office send the invoice to parents through the education payment platform "School Pay". Parents will scan the code to check the invoice and remit the money to the students' exclusive payment account to complete the payment.

Withdrawal and Refund Policy
Refund Notice
For withdrawal, please notify the Admissions Office (not enrolled) or notify the respective department office (enrolled) in written form and complete the School Fee Refund Form and the Student Withdrawal Form.
No refund will be given unless a written letter explaining the reasons for withdrawal is submitted to the respective department office and the Student Withdrawal Form is signed by all the relevant departments.
All school books and supplies should be returned before the student leaves. Students will have to pay for any missing books and supplies according to the purchased price. EY2 to G2 families should return all parent pass cards before student leaves.
Normally it will take 30 working days to process tuition fee, lunch fee, school bus fee and/or boarding fee refund application. The school will notify parents in advance if additional time is required or if any other special circumstances applied.
No refund can be given for withdrawal due to violation of Chinese laws or regulations and serious violation of school rules.
No refund can be given for withdrawal in case of inability to operate the school due to force majeure including natural disasters,contagion, etc.
Refund Details:
Refunds for meal and/or snack service may be provided by days with written notice submitted to the correct divisional office 5 days in advance.
School bus fee refunds may be provided per semester. Written notice must be provided to the central office before registration day of the semester
Refund of boarding fee refunds may be provided per semester. Written notice must be provided to the correct divisional office.
