Dr. K. C. Pang Chief Director
Holding a Doctor’s Degree from Hong Kong University, Dr. Pang is a senior bilingual education and international curriculum expert. Dr. Pang previously served as vice president of Hong Kong Institute of Education, mainly in charge of academic support for school and provided guidance to IBDP curriculum. He is the founder and supervisor of kindergarten and elementary school in Hong Kong Institute of Education.
Ouyang Hua Supervisor and Head of School
Bachelor of English Literature, and has rich international education and educational management experience. She has been the principal of Dell International English Campus, principal of Ambow Educational Group campus. She is Vice President of EduChina as well as Executive President of the EduChina Cambridge Group, in charge of management of the 8 international curriculum districts of EduChina throughout China.
Michael Bevis Deputy Head of the School
Holding a Doctorate of Education (ABD) in Instructional Leadership, Mr. Bevis has more than 10 years experience in educational administration, teacher development, program development, and teaching in an international and multicultural academic context. He worked as Principal in Tianjin International School and Adjunct Professor at Portland State University. His passion and achieved proficiency for Chinese language and culture are evident with 19 years living in China.
Samantha Corset Executive Assistant
Ms. Corset has been part of BIBA for many years, working in Admissions, Managing Marketing, supporting the PTA and ongoing relationship building with internal and external stakeholders, has given her extensive knowledge of the overall operation of the school. Along with her degree in Social Science and years of experience working in an International environment in Switzerland and now Beijing, she brings a wealth of knowledge to this role.
Jane Krader Principal, Middle and High School
Ms. Krader is an experienced educator with over 25 years spent in international schools around the world. She has had many educational roles, including teaching German, ESOL, IT and ELA as well as being a librarian. Her choice to become a school principal was led by her desire to be a positive, supportive and passionate instructional leader for teachers and students.
Vinni Yeung Principal of Kindergarten and Early Childhood Center
Ms. Yeung obtained her Master of Education from The University of Hong Kong, Honours Bachelor of Early Childhood Education from The Education University of Hong Kong and the Certificate of Kindergarten Principalship from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Ms. Yeung is especially familiar with the reform direction and strategy of early childhood education. She has worked in the Hong Kong Ling Liang Church Kindergarten (Ma On Shan and Diamond Hill branches) for 19 years and was mainly in charge of teaching and administrative management.
Natasha Naderi HR Director
Ms. Naderi holds an M.Ed. in Human and Organization Development from Vanderbilt University and a Senior Professional in Human Resources Certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute. She has over 15 years of experience in Human Resources. She and her teammates won two HR Innovation Awards in Asia for Excellence in Leadership Development and Talent Management in 2015.
Andrew Young Assistant Principal, Middle and High School
Mr. Young is from Hamilton, New Zealand. He received his Bachelor of Science with Honours from Lincoln University, New Zealand and obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching Learning from Christchurch College of Education in New Zealand. Prior to coming to China, Mr. Young worked for nearly 10 years in international schools in Japan and Turkey with a breadth of teaching and coordination experiences. He has rich experience in a multicultural educational environment to help guide students to achieve academic success and become global talents with social responsibility.
Bo Shi Assistant Principal, Middle and High School
Ms. Shi holds a Masters Degree in Education from the University of Edinburgh, UK. Having 12 years working experiences in international school and international curriculum field, she was one of the founders of Zhengzhou Cornerstone School and has been the deputy principal for three years. She has also served as the director of the international department in Beijing Haidian Foreign Language Shiyan School for five years. She is Vice President of EduChina Cambridge Group, in charge of teaching administration of the 8 international curriculum campuses throughout China.
Dr. Harold Good Elementary School Assistant Principal of Student Affairs and Performing Arts Director
Dr. Good holds a PhD in Educational Leadership. He served as Head of Performing Arts for an international School in Shanghai for four years, and was in charge of virtual education for students. Dr. Good taught music in New Jersey for 8 years. Numerous concerts and musical productions directed by him are his gifts to all students.
Kristine Cariello Assistant Principal, Elementary School
Ms. Cariello is an experienced educator whose career spans from K-12 to higher education, in both the public and private sectors. While at NYU she served as adjunct faculty in the Music Department and taught in the outreach division for the New York Pops. Ms. Cariello has held teaching positions at the Hotchkiss School, Plattsburgh State College, and Kingston City School District.
Li Mei Head of Administration and Facilities
Prior to joining BIBA, Li Mei worked as the principal assistant at Beijing haidian Foreign Language School and EduChina Cambridge. She has rich experience in administration in international contexts. As the Head of Administration and Facilities, Li Mei will lead the Facilities team to provide support to each division of the school with her passion and professionalism.
Miles Doherty IB coordinator
Mr. Doherty holds a BA in Culture, Communication and Journalism and a BEd in Secondary Education. This is his fifth year at BIBA. He has rich experience in international schools, and he is familiar with IB curriculum implementation and university application.
Zu Afang Elementary Chinese Curriculum Academic Director
Vice president, Chinese Newspaper Reading and Writing Association; Distinguished expert, National Training Program of Beijing Normal University; Middle school senior teacher; Leading teacher in Beijing. She was the director of Elementary Chinese Department in Educational Research Academy in Dongcheng District, Beijing. Based on current Chinese curriculum and teachers’ needs at BIBA, Ms. Zu provides valuable guidance to Chinese teachers after class observations and discussions to assure the quality of Elementary Chinese teaching and research.
Wang Wei Head of Elementary Math Curriculum
After graduation from Minzu University of China, Wang Wei has been a math teacher for 17 years. Wang Wei joined BIBA in 2010. He is recognized as a senior teacher in elementary school and has won prizes such as “Excellent Educator Award” and “Excellent Teacher Award” (awarded by Beijing Private Education System). Trying to work out a feasible approach for math-teaching in bilingual schools, Wang Wei and his team members did a lot research on textbooks and methodologies.
Xing Peijuan Deputy Head of Chinese Curriculum, Elementary School
Having been in elementary education for 10 years, Ms. Xing is an experienced Elementary Chinese teacher who is an expert in teaching and research, familiar with the Chinese curriculum. Her active and passionate teaching style is highly praised by students and teachers. Through her 7 years of experience at BIBA, immersed in the joy of learning, dedication and professionalism, Ms. Xing has been diligently reflecting on the unique teaching methods and models of teaching Chinese in international schools.
